Megaworld and Iloilo City join forces to hold Iloilo Bike Festival in the next 10 years in Iloilo Business Park

Megaworld, a 72 hectare land in Iloilo known as the Iloilo Business Park [IBP] becomes an offical home  of Bike Festival until 2024. This is made possible after the signing of Megaworld and Iloilo government the Memorandum of Agreement [MOA] to formalized the partnership. 

The Memorandum of Agreement was signed by Senior Vice President Jericho P. Go and Iloilo City mayor Jed Patrcik E. Mabilog. This project primarily promotes health lifestyle, road-sharing as emerging bike lanes and public safety practices in Iloilo.

"The partnership solidifies the very purpose of this festival which is to gather the Ilonggo community and show is commitment to healthy and sustainable living. We fully support Iloilo's bid to become the bike capital of the Philippines as we also build our bike lanes in Iloilo Business Park." says Go.

Environment Friendly Township

Eco-friendly, sustainable township, is what Iloilo Business Park offers and wants future residents, BPO workers and Mall goers to see it rising.

"The very essence of township living is allowing convenient access to everyone to walk from one place to another or use bikes around the township, lessening carbon footprint," adds Go.

The Palladium, a 22-storey residential tower with green features of multi-level sky gardens. It is the first in Western Visayas. It is envisioned to be the region's tallest residential condominium once completed.

Head of marketing, Iloilo Business Park Jennifer Palamers-Fong said, "We are very excited about The Palladium because our residents will be able to experience sky garden living that allows them to commune with nature without going out of the building."

The Old Iloilo Airport in Manduriao District is now the Iloilo Business Park's biggest business and tourism hub.

Megaworld has allotted P35 billion for the development of the township in the next 10 years, making it the company's biggest single investment outside Metro Manila. IBP will be home to luxury residential condominiums, state-of-the-art business process outsourcing [BPO] office towers, a Mega World Center Mall, a 1.1 kilometer Festive Walk Commercial and retail strip, open parks, transport hub, first class hotels and the Iloilo City Convention Center.

September 23, 2013, it was Monday and because I have no class at school, I decided to have a day for my health and fitness. I woke up and prepare myself going to Iloilo Sports Complex. I invited my friend to join me as we enjoy the exercise in a cold and rainy weather.

Iloilo Sports Complex is located at Magsaysay Rd, Iloilo City. 

Iloilo Sports Complex offers you Swimming Pool, Basket Ball Court, Volleyball Court, Tennis Court, Track and Field Oval, and a great space to exercise your health and fitness. 

Aside from the complex there is also a small gym for body builders.

Here is some of my photos at Iloilo Sports Complex where I enjoy each moment where you can meet new friends and help yourself for a healthy future.

A 400 meter oval covered with a rubber type of cover, where you can enjoy running, sprint, walk, or jug with or without any shoes. 

I haven't tried barefoot yet but i ask y friends about it on how does it feel, well they just answer me that they feel more comfortable than wearing running shoes or any kind of shoes related to sports. 

Iloilo Sports Complex also have an Olympic size swimming pool with a deep of 4 - 5 - 4 feet. They say swimming is the best exercise therefor why not try swimming with our Olympic size swimming pool.

September 13, 2013, Firday. They said Friday the 13 is a bad day and you need to keep watch of yourself every time you are going to do something. But for me it's all false. Why? because in this day all of our exams are suspended and transferred to Monday next week. It's my lucky day.

It was afternoon in the same day around 6 o clock. I found out that I have no load anymore. I went to Robinson's Mall Iloilo to buy some load. Along the way, I want to drink some cold delicious Milk Tea just near the store where I purchased my load.

I bought this Blue Berry Milk Tea by BubbaTeaLicious. It cost me only for 70Php (Philippine Pesos) for one large size Milk Tea. Although the store has many costumers and I still need to fall line, i never doubted to fall in line.

Blue Berry milk tea is also available in Small, Medium, and Large. 

Small = 50Php (Pesos), Medium = 60Php (Pesos), and Large = 50Php (Pesos).

I went home and enjoyed my Blue Berry Milk tea, while i was writing this post.

August 1, 2013 another day at school. Around 5:10 in the afternoon my friend text me that we'll have a long exposure shot at Iloilo Esplanade. We started taking pictures exactly 6:00 in the evening.

I love taking pictures with my wide lens camera, you can shoot wide angle and create extra-ordinary images.

 In night photography, I always love taking pictures in low level. This means my camera is 2 - 3 feet from the ground. Using my wide angle lens it makes me feel better.

This photo is taken while me and my companion were taking a little walk and find another interesting angles and views. I take this shot with my flash so that the true color of the place may be visible. 

This is my last picture in our long walk here in Esplanade, Iloilo. Aside from taking pictures we also have a little exercise. Come and experience Iloilo Esplanade and witness it's beauty and discover yourself here in Iloilo.
