It's SMDAY or Social Media Day in the Philippines. Every year Social Media Day is celebrated in the Philippines to remember how Social Media impact the filipino people, how we are suppose to use Social Media in a good manner and to remind and educate ourselves on how to be aware on thing happening on Social Media Sites.
What is Social Media?
Social Media is a site or a webpage in the internet where people can interact and connect with each other. Popular social media sites are Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram and other sites.
Now what do we do in social media? In social media, we are able to expand our business, showing up our products, communicate with other users, share our discoveries. Social Media is powerful tool to let you connect people your product, business, likes or dislikes and also yourself.
In Social Media we the users should share and use Social Media to innovate ideas, maintain good relationship and of course be able to inspire other people on how to use Social Media in an effective way by sharing good information that would be helpful in the society in a nice way. We can also make use of Social Media by using a hashtag (#) sign for people in the whole country is able to discuss some topic in one thread. Also hashtags are useful in disasters like typhoons and more.
Social Media is a great friend or partner with bloggers like me. It is where we are able to share our experiences, knowledge, and discoveries. As a blogger it is also hard. We need to really persuade people to inspire them and giving them information that is very helpful and to create a Good creative content.
